Auto Detailers Onboarding Guide

Welcome to Shiny.us! This guide will help you understand the two service tiers we offer, how you can inform us of your geographic service area, and the service levels you are equipped to perform. Please review the following sections carefully.

Service Tiers

Tier 1: Basic

As a Basic detailer, you are equipped with the essential tools needed for standard auto detailing, which include:

• Vacuum Cleaner
• Steamers
• Pressure Washer
• All Necessary Chemicals (cleaners, waxes, soaps, etc.)
• Small Tools (brushes, towels, applicators, etc.)

With these tools, you will be able to provide standard auto detailing services. As a Basic tier detailer, you will earn 60% of each booking.

Example:

• Service Price: $100
• Your Earnings: $60 (60% of the booking)

Tier 2: Premium

As a Premium detailer, you have the equipment required for Basic detailing, plus additional advanced tools for mobile services, including:

• Water Tank
• Generator
• Polisher

This enables you to provide more comprehensive detailing services on-site, without needing external resources. As a Premium tier detailer, you will earn 70% of each booking.

Example:

• Service Price: $100
• Your Earnings: $70 (70% of the booking)

Provide Your Geographic Service Area

In order to ensure we match you with the right customers, it is essential for you to tell us where you are available to work. Please specify your geographic service area by doing the following:

1. Email us your location details – Specify the cities, regions, or radius around your base of operations where you can perform services.
2. Provide any location-specific notes – If you have certain limitations or specific areas where you prefer to work, please let us know.
3. Mobile Detailers (Premium Tier) – If you're mobile, clarify whether you are willing to travel further for premium services, and include the distance or additional areas you cover.

Specify Your Service Levels

In addition to your geographic area, please inform us of the service levels you are equipped to perform. These can vary depending on your equipment and expertise. Here’s how you can update us:

1. Service Level Capabilities – Based on the tools and skills you have, outline the specific services you offer. For example:
   • Interior Detailing (vacuuming, cleaning, etc.)
   • Exterior Detailing (washing, waxing, etc.)
   • Polishing and Paint Correction (Premium Tier)
   • On-Site Mobile Detailing (Premium Tier with water tank and generator)
2. Any Additional Services – If you provide specialized services beyond the basics, like ceramic coating or headlight restoration, please let us know so we can market them to clients.
3. Email the Details – Send your service levels and the geographic area you cover to hello@shiny.ca
